H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed AlMheiri
Non-Executive Board MemberH.E. Mariam AlMheiri was appointed as a member of Elsewedy Electric’s Board of Directors in 2024, leveraging her extensive expertise in mechanical engineering, sustainable investments and technological innovation. H.E. AlMheiri has served as the Group CEO of 2PointZero, a global investment company, since its inception in January 2024. Under her leadership, 2PointZero has established a diverse portfolio, including Chimera Investments, Lunate Capital, and International Resources Holding (IRH), driving sustainable growth across industries.
Prior to this, H.E. AlMheiri held prominent roles, including UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment (2021–2023), UAE Minister of State for Food Security and Minister of State for Food and Water, where she spearheaded national efforts to accelerate climate action, preserve biodiversity, and improve food security.
H.E. AlMheiri also currently serves as Chairman of the International Affairs Office at the Presidential Court of the UAE and is an active board member of FAB Bank, QHolding, and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. Internationally, she represents the UAE in the Schools Meals Coalition and serves on the advisory board of EAT, a global platform for food system transformation. Furthermore, she serves as the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs’ Envoy to Germany, overseeing bilateral relations to foster agricultural innovation.
H.E. AlMheiri received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Rheinisch- Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen, Germany.
