Mohamed ElSayad currently serves as Chairman of Iskraemeco, a global leader in smart metering and digital energy solutions operating in more than 80 countries. Under his leadership, the company is accelerating its digital transformation agenda and expanding its position in data-driven energy infrastructure.

ElSayad brings over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and emerging markets, spanning telecommunications, digital infrastructure, media, and innovation. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with presidential cabinets, ministers, and sovereign investment funds on large-scale national transformation initiatives, including telecom infrastructure, AI development, and digital sovereignty strategies.

Prior to his current role, ElSayad served as Chief Business Development and Innovation Officer at 4iG Group, where he was responsible for shaping the Group’s telecom and digital infrastructure strategy across Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. In this capacity, he led major initiatives in fiber networks, subsea cables, and next-generation digital platforms, supporting the company’s regional expansion and growth.

Earlier in his career, ElSayad held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Commercial Officer at Telenor Hungary, where he led the successful rebranding to Yettel, and Marketing Director at Telekom Hungary (part of Deutsche Telekom). Over the course of his career, he has been instrumental in launching and building two European telecom brands from the ground up — Yettel and One — establishing them as strong international players. He was also instrumental in repositioning Telekom Hungary for a new digital era. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Digital Advertising at du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company) and as General Manager of MSN Arabia, contributing to the development of the digital ecosystem in the region.

In parallel with his corporate leadership, ElSayad was one of the founders of Dubai Angel Investors, supporting early-stage technology ventures and contributing to the regional startup ecosystem.
